Challenges:

  • Leading Real Estate agent team in the Evergreen area of San Jose had an old, template-built site that no longer looked current
  • The old site did not integrate with real estate IDX listings
  • The site was not easily updateable by their team

 

Solutions:

Results:
The new site is flexible, views well from any browser including mobile device browsers and is scalable for future needs.

Challenges:

  • This award winning middle school's PTSA needed a way to communicate with current and potential members.
  • They had an older technology website but it was updatable only by webmasters confident in using pure html and css.
  • They needed to be able to easily train new volunteers on the web technology.
  • They wanted to integrate an existing look and feel to provide continuity of experience.
  • There was no easy way to change or expand the menus.

 

Solutions:
Hyperpath implemented a complete new site design using Wordpress.

  • Used a robust, free template and customized it to match their branding.
  • Researched, installed and configured free plug-ins to extend the functionality.
  • The site is easy to maintain from any web browser by anyone who is familiar with word processors with less than 30 minutes of training.

Results:
The new site is faster, more flexible and more easily scalable for the organization's needs and was completed in less than 8 hours.

Challenges:

  • Lorom West had undergone a major shift in their approach to the market and needed their website to reflect their new approach.
  • The underlying technology was dated and did not lend itself to easy content organization, making it hard to navigate for visitors.
  • The overall color and look and feel of their old site was not well-suited to their market and their new strategy.

 

Solutions:
Hyperpath implemented a complete new site design on the Joomla platform.

  • Created 3 design "comps" and worked with those initial comps to tailor the look to the clients needs.
  • The new site required a complete rewrite of all the content to reflect their new focus.
  • The homepage was created with automatically populated "widgets" to showcase new content.
  • The site required a new graphic design approach to create a consolidated look and feel.

Results:
The new site is now more accurately focused to Lorom West's customer base of leading technology companies and provides the flexibility to change and grow as the company grows.

Challenges:

  • Armada had a very old website and had recently upgraded it to a new design. They were happy with the new design, but found the underlying platform and the back-end management to be problematic.
  • They were not able to easily update the homepage content and were not happy with the flash banners.
  • Each change required a call to the website designer, costing them time and money.
  • They were also unhappy with their hosting and needed the site moved to a new host.
  • They needed to ensure any new design worked with Wordpress to allow blog integration into their site.

 

Solutions:
Hyperpath implemented a new site using the Joomla platform with integration with their Wordpress blog.

  • By maintaining the elements the client liked in their existing site (content, color scheme, overall layout), Hyperpath was able to create a new design and implement the site in less than one month.
  • By changing the banner component from a flash component to an editable format, the client can change the contents themselves.
  • By including automatically updated "widgets", the home page is automatically updated with fresh content as the website changes.

 

Results:
The client is now able to fully access all content on their site and manage it themselves. The homepage is automatically updated with the content the client adds including blog posts, news releases and events. The site is dynamic and easily maintained by the client.

Challenges:

  • Silicon Creations is an engineer-led company that had an existing website. However it was very basic and did not showcase the business in a way that would attract tier one customers.
  • The company wanted to be able to maintain the site themselves and preferred a basic HTML/CSS-driven site as they were familiar with use of HTML.
  • They primarily needed a new look and feel that would appear more professional

 

Solutions:
Hyperpath created a multipage site using CSS and HTML to meet their needs.

  • The new site was designed using primary colors to appeal to the largely male audience.
  • It incorporates an animated .gif banner. This format (instead of flash) that was chosen in order to display easily on a wide array of operating systems, required by an engineering audience.
  • Hyperpath provided all of the copywriting for the site.

 

Results:
The site is easily maintained on the back-end by the customer since they are used to working with HTML. The look and feel was so appealing to the customer that they contracted Hyperpath to create design templates for their corporate literature and tradeshow booth to match the design of the website.

Challenges:

  • The non-profit organization supporting a public elementary school needed a new website to interact with parents.
  • The goal was to reduce the amount of paper that had to be sent for announcements.
  • The site needed to feed an email marketing newsletter and had to have the ability to link to individual stories from that newsletter.
  • Fund-raising was a major focus, so there needed to be a payment gateway with PayPal to enable online donations.
  • The website would be maintained by volunteers, most with no web experience and had to be easy to use.

 

Solutions:
Hyperpath created a robust and visually interesting site using the Joomla platform.

  • The site uses many categories to allow ease of updates and the ability to find content quickly on the back-end.
  • Through the user administrator, multiple users can add and edit site content without impacting the overall design and functionality.
  • New widgets and programming components have been constantly added to implement new programs including an online auction system, donation trackers and banners.

 

Results:
This site is currently maintained by more than 5 separate people, all volunteers and with no prior web experience. The site has become the "go to" destination for parents and teachers within the school looking for current information.
